A few kilometers from the Sanse Castle, many villages are worth visiting. We suggest you take a tour through some of them like Castelmoron d’Albret, Sainte-Foy-la-Grande, Sauveterre-de-Guyenne and Monségur.
Castelmoron d’Albret is known for being the smallest village in France in terms of surface area; Sainte-Foy-la-Grande will surprise you with its bastide, the oldest in Gironde; Sauveterre-de-Guyenne will charm you with its four doors, vestiges of its tumultuous past; and finally, in Monségur, you will discover its market halls, its ramparts and its arcaded square.
